Shower Tray Crack Repair Process
Before we begin work a member of our specialist team will carefully inspect your shower tray. If the shower tray is raised from the ground, we support it underneath. If the tray is fixed flushed to the ground, we drill holes around the crack area and inject sticky foam which will stabilise the tray and surrounding area. If there is any movement, we start by craving the crack and fill the crack with resin, this will bond the crack together. On top of the tray, we use a fiberglass mesh with resin which will make the shower tray structurally safe and watertight. This will leave a slight edge, but it won’t be seen, but you might feel it if you run your hand through. We then colour match and respray the affected area and blend it so the naked eye won’t be able to see it.

Shower tray crack repair usually takes 2-4 hours to complete and 12-24 hours to fully set, all depending on the temperature of the room.
